Superior Bike Park

They boys wanted to try out the new Superior Bike Park now that they had seen the Valmont Bike Park. Immediately, Taggart did a header! To everyone's surprise, he jumped up and stated, "I not cry!"Like any good brother, Ryder decided that was a good warm-up and took Tagg to a starting hill for another good drop in....Surprisingly, they both did it with now issues.
Ryder started to figure out the track and began showing off for his younger brother.
Tagg was exhausted. Trying to keep up with his big brother wore him out.
Another great bike park that will challenge the boys for years to come. They left sweaty and smiling not realizing how banged up their ankles, knees and shins were from the multiple crashes.

Father's Day

Daddy had a great Father's Day! Mommy, Ryder, Taggart and even Wilson made it extra special. We Love you Daddy.

Sports Camp

Ryder, Parker and Delanie completing the week long sports camp that included baseball, basketball and soccer.Ryder definitely loves sports. Its hard to tell which is his favorite at this point but tennis seems to be entering the mix also.

NBA Championship Warm Up

The boys were disappointed that Daddy got to go to Game 5 without them. So, in preparation for tonight's NBA Championship, Ryder & Tagg decided to wear their Brian Cardinal Dallas Mavericks jerseys and acted as if they were playing in the game...which as they stated, "playing is better than watching Daddy".They actually missed parts of the game as they just kept shooting until Brian entered the game.
Congratulations to Brian Cardinal and the Dallas Mavericks on winning the NBA Championship! Ryder was disappointed to learn that the players don't actually get the big trophy.

Valmont Bike Park

Today we went to the opening of the Valmont Bike Park in Boulder, CO. It is AWESOME! Ryder wanted to take a closer look at all the "big boys" entering the bump park.

Let's just say Daddy was not too interested in the XL or L courses after watching the entrance to the course (photo below).
After watching in amazement, we headed out on some of the cross country trails for the boys. Tagg liked going down hill more than going up as his short little legs got tired quick.
Ryder on the other hand was all over the place. It was a little difficult to keep up with him which upset Tagg, concerned Mommy and frustrated Daddy.
The Valmont Bike Park will now be a regular stop for some family rides.

Hilton Head Vacation - VI

We spent the last night of the vacation watching the sunset on the beach, watching the boys and reflecting on another incredible vacation.

The boys really just wanted another opportunity to play in the sand,and the ocean.
A little silly time with Nana Leveque was a great way to end the trip.

Hilton Head Vacation - V

After the dolphins moved on, Ryder took the helm with Papa Leveque.Mommy and Daddy enjoyed chillin out at the back of the boat.

Taggart was a little tired and needed some Mommy time. Maybe he just needed reassurance since he realized his brother was the skipper.

Hilton Head Vacation - IV

A day on the boat presented us with numerous visitors.... These two dolphins were extremely interested in us...

They hung out for awhile and cruised next to the boat...

Uncle Ryan and Daddy actually touched one of the dolphins. The boys (front of the boat) were not too interested in getting close especially when they showed their teeth.

Hilton Head Vacation - III

Next day at the beach, the boys couldn't wait for Mommy and Daddy to join in the fun... Lunch at the beach was a hit...

At least for one of them...

Uncle Ryan, Daddy and Papa joined in on the sand castle construction project.

Hilton Head Vacation - II

The boys couldn't wait to hit the beach. Ryder was amazed at the waves and a little cautious in the beginning. Taggart on the other hand demonstrated no real concern and ran right in...proceeding to fall head first into a wave.

Ryder's confidence grew and he was a little too comfortable.

Hilton Head Vacation - I

Once we arrived in Hilton Head Island, SC for vacation the boys couldn't wait to get in Nana & Papa Leveque's pool. Taggart wasn't too excited about the sunscreen application....while Ryder was thrilled to show off his swimming skills.

After a long day, they enjoyed playing with the remote control jet ski.

At the end of day one and hours in the pool, they crashed hard.
