The last family Summer get away as we enjoy family time and celebrate the end of Summer and beginning of school. We headed to Colorado Springs, CO for the weekend. The Broadmoor Resort, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and Garden of the Gods Park all exceeded our expectations.
Team Hutton enjoyed watching Air Force Academy cadets practice parachuting into Falcon Stadium, chasing each other around The Broadmoor grounds and playing on the playground, eating at/getting stung at The Golden Bee English Pub, eating desert in the hotel room bed, feeding the giraffes at The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, swimming in the infinity pool, riding the water slides, sitting in the hot tub, driving a wooden electric boat on Cheyenne Lake, eating at/playing games at PLAY, watching TV while taking a bath, watching movies in the hotel room and exploring/hiking at Garden of the Gods Park...its good to be a kid.
