Piper's 3rd Birthday

Team Hutton's princess turned 3 today.
She brightens our days and approaches live with a passion, energy and excitement that inspires each of us. We are all so fortunate to have Piper as a daughter and sister.
Happy Birthday Piper!

Night at the Rockies Game

A great family outing last night to see the Colorado Rockies take on the defending World Champion San Francisco Giants at Coors Field. Unfortunately, the Rockies lost 5-4 in 11 innings. Fortunately, we had a blast and Piper survived her first professional sporting event.
It was great to connect with the Russell's and let the kids reconnect while cheering loudly for the home team.

Beaver Creek Spring Break w the Cardinal's

Team Hutton and Team Cardinal boldly brought all ten together for an epic Spring Break in Beaver Creek, CO. We are so fortunate to have meet over ten years ago in Memphis, TN. Our family friendship remains strong regardless of where we live, how often we see each other and what we do when we get together.
The kids ready for the first day of ski school
Enjoying the views, company and slopes
We may have enjoyed a little candy on the slopes also
Never too tired to carry our little girls

Powder day!
Nothing better than skiing together as a family

Mid week day off provided plenty of time to play sports, run on the golf course, sled and explore the creek.

They paused long enough for a few photos

"Seriously, why do the golfers hit their golf balls in the creek?"
"Regardless, we are happy they did."
Nothing better than continuing the day long celebration with some popcorn
The kids slept wherever they could...and moved around throughout the nights
We had an incredible week. Again, we are so fortunate to have the friendship and love making family experiences and memories together. Everyone is sad today and already missing each other. We cannot wait until our next adventure.

Harbor Town Reunion Spring Break

The Jacksonville, FL (Bruneau's) and Memphis, TN (Carls') Spring Breaks coincided this year. Fortunate for Team Hutton, they all decided to head to Beaver Creek, CO for the week...Harbor Town Reunion.
We all had a great time re-connecting, telling stories and watching the kids rekindle friendships.
Crazy to think that we left Memphis, TN over 6 years ago now.

Alpine World Ski Championships

Team Hutton had a great time in Beaver Creek for the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships.
Ladies Downhill cheering on Team USA & Lindsey Vonn
Watching the World's best skiers provided inspiration as we all hit the slopes the next day.
Papa Leveque and Team Hutton on the slopes in Beaver Creek
Tagg directed all his energy and new found motivation towards spending the entire day on the slope finding as many different green and blue runs as possible...his favorites were the ones with jumps. Tagg definitely won the medal for most improved.
Tagg's first time in Rose Bowl
Daddy said, "I've dreamed of this day for a long time and I am so proud of my two little men." We all question who had more fun, Daddy or Ryder & Tagg. Next, we need to get Piper up on the slopes.
Daddy with Taggart and Ryder
Tagg and Ryder both covered 12,000 vertical feet, consumed multiple hot chocolates and scared Mommy and Daddy to death as they gained confident and sought out the trees and jumps. Mommy said, "Oh no! Now we are in trouble."
Absolutely wiped out
Ryder won the medal for most adventurous as he did his first black diamond run (with Daddy in tow). The moguls seemed to be up to his hips but he just flew through, over and around them. When he hit the bottom and turned around to see were Daddy was, he said, "Dad are you stuck." Daddy's response was not easily understood as he mumbled to himself the rest of the way down.

Dental Braces for Ryder

A big day for Ryder as we visited the Orthodontist for his dental braces. Ryder selected orange rubber bands and although a little unsure of it stated, "these are cool".
