HHI Summer Vacation - part 1

As we embarked on our Summer vacation journey, Piper enjoyed her first flight. At nearly 10 weeks, she did great.

 As good as Piper was, Ryder & Taggart were outstanding. Daddy doesn't know if it was the first class accommodations, iPads (with games & movies) or the food. Regardless, they made the trip a joy.

 Rounding out the journey as we landed in Hilton Head Island (HHI) on the Fourth of July.

Attitude

Piper is starting to show a little or a lot more personality, which may also be confused with attitude.

She had her two month check up today and all is well. She is 12lbs 2oz.

Summer Haircuts

As Boulder continues to break records for heat and days over 100, we thought it would be a good time for Summer haircuts. Ryder and Tagg both thought it would be a good time to sport a mohawk. Both find it hilarious that neither Daddy nor Piper are capable of a mohawk.

 Piper's do is already short enough so we just thought we would share a photo or our little princess from yesterday.

Smiles, Bubbles, Kisses...

Mommy likes to think this was Piper's first experience blowing bubbles....since Daddy is in Japan, he likes to think this was Piper blowing him a kiss! Our beautiful baby girl is now 44 days old.

Piper is 38 days old! She is doing well...we are still getting adjusted. :-) She is well over 10 lbs and getting used to her surroundings....or more importantly her brothers.

Summer is officially here and we took Piper to the pool today. She requested that no photos be taken as she hasn't been able to try on her swimsuit yet. Ryder & Tagg thought that was funny.

Last Day of School

Ryder finished his last day at Louisville Montessori School and is now heading to Fireside Elementary for Kindergarten next year.

Taggart finished his last day at Louisville Preschool and is now heading to Louisville Montessori School for Pre-K next year.

The boys are so excited for Summer but cannot wait for next school year.

Grandma Hutton enjoyed meeting Piper and spending time with the boys. It was a great visit. The boys are definitely spoiled after having Grandma and Nana & Papa visit.

Growing Like a Weed?

Piper had her second follow up visit with the doctor today. The sleepless nights and constant feeding are now more easily understood as she has grown 2" and gained 1lb 12oz in 17 days. This now has her in the 75 percentile. Obviously, someone didn't get the measurment right the first time...or we have a slight issue....or maybe she is preparing to keep up with her two older brothers.

Taggart & Ryder both love soccer and were so excited to have Papa Leveque in town to watch the season finale. Both boys scored goals...celebrated...and were proud to have Papa there to observe them.

Piper Adelyn Hutton arrived home today. Such an exciting time in the Hutton household.

What a great day. We are all so happy and excited to be home. Piper had a great day and the boys couldn't get enough of her.

Today was a big day as Piper was able to meet her big brothers, Ryder & Taggart, and Nana Leveque. We are all looking forward to coming home from the hospital.

She weighs 6lbs 10oz and is 19" long.

Piper has not yet met Ryder and Taggart! Nana Leveque is bringing the boys to the hospital in the morning to meet their little sister. Things will never be the same.
