Tooth Fairy

Today, Ryder lost his first tooth...or shall we say first two teeth. Unfortunately, one of the permanent teeth was coming in behind the baby tooth. The dentist recommended extracting two.
Before
Ryder actually asked if they could extract four...he determined that this would ensure that he had lost more teeth than anyone in his class and that he made the most money from the tooth fairy. Not only is he competitive but he is slightly entrepreneurial.
After
Lots of family fun tonight as Ryder placed the teeth under his pillow in the perfect spot for the Tooth Fairy to locate the tooth....or by the looks of it, for his brother to sneak back in and hide.

Christmas Tree

We had a great time picking out our 10' Noble Fir Christmas Tree.
We had less than a great time trying to carry and place in the house!

Broncos Thanksgiving

Grandma Hutton visited for Christmas and came with Denver Broncos gifts. Ryder & Tagg were so excited that she made them Broncos robes.

Piper is always excited and seemed to enjoy her Broncos hooded cape.
If ever it was in doubt, we are a Broncos family!

Go Buffs...Go Broncos

On Saturday, we spent the day cheering on the Colorado. The boys were excited because if was Mommy's first game of the year.
CU may not be very good but the view and atmosphere doesn't get much better.
Unfortunately, Piper wasn't up for the CU game...she was saving all her energy for Sunday's Broncos game. Ryder insisted that she wear his Broncos hat.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween from the Hutton family. Ryder & Taggart were very excited to hit the streets in their Power Ranger costumes.

Piper didn't know what to expect and we couldn't tell if she was more concerned about the Zebra costume or her two crazy Power Ranger brothers.

Ryder's Birthday Party

Happy Birthday Ryder!
Yesterday, Ryder had his sixth birthday party with a few of his friends.
Stephen, Taggart, Ryder, Eli, Thomas and Parker
The first half of the party was at the movie theater for Hotel Transylvania. The boys had a blast and thought it was hilarious.
The last half of the party was at Old Chicago's for pizza and ice cream sundae's.

It was so much fun meeting some of Ryder's friends from school and spending the day with seven boys all under 7. Mommy was ready to head home for some peace with Piper!

Happy Birthday Ryder

Ryder (and Tagg) couldn't wait to get out of bed this morning to celebrate Ryder's 6th birthday.
It is amazing how fast the last six years have flown by and how much Ryder has grown and matured. We are so proud of him.
The day ended with an ice cream sundae bar. Daddy joined in the fun.....so did Mommy but we don't have any photos of that. Piper was present but did not partake.
We are all looking forward to Saturday's birthday party.

Active Sunday

We had an active, fun filled Sunday. First Ryder and Taggart attended Football Camp. Then Ryder was off to Tyler Goodson's birthday party at the ABC Climbing Gym in Boulder.

Finally, home to paint a football field in the back yard....unfortunately, this years request came instructions on which mascot we should try to paint in the center of the field.

Pumpkin Patch

Piper enjoyed her first trip to the Pumpkin Patch and is eager for her first Halloween.
Ryder & Taggart turned the visit into a competition with Mommy doing her best to officiate...
The competition resulted in two very large pumpkins, which may outweigh the boys, being selected.
Happy Halloween!

A Day in the Rocky Mntn Nat'l Park - II

We had a great time hiking and really enjoyed the Fall weather and colors in the mountains.
The Elk were everywhere and extremely close. It was amazing.
Courtney and Piper look so peaceful. You can't even tell that two little boys are running around acting crazy trying while the Elk nearby bugle and walk amongst us in the forest.
A new Team Hutton family tradition...Fall in Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park.

A Day in the Rocky Mntn Nat'l Park - I

Today, we headed into the Rocky Mountain National Park via the Peak to Peak Highway and up through Estes Park, CO.
We wondered if we would see many Elk....We came upon this one within 2 minutes of entering the Park. We all sat in amazement as he sat there bugling.
The boys enjoyed exploring and attempting to replicate the sound a Bull Elk makes when bugling. The didn't have much practice and were not successful at attracting any Elk, fortunately.
It was one of the few times we got outdoors since Piper was born. It was long overdue and great for us all.

Piper's Fall Fashion

Mommy is trying to influence Piper early. At the first sign of Fall, she began breaking out the hats.
Piper seemed to like it, Daddy and the boys are a little concerned.

Piper Eating

Piper has officially tried solids....or shall we say a food that has more consistency than milk.

Don't allow this photo to fool you, as it wasn't that pleasant.

Happy Birthday Tagg

Happy Birthday Tagg, who turned 4 today. Its amazing how quickly our little boy has grown up.
Tagg up early to begin his birthday
We still don't know what was must fun...opening presents, celebrating at school, assembling the presents, playing with the presents, talking with family or eating the cake.
Forget the candle, lets eat some cake
Tagg had a great birthday and enjoyed celebrating with the entire family. Piper still doesn't know what to make of this and Ryder can't believe he still has to wait over 40 days for his birthday. Mommy is so excited that her birthday is next.

College Football

Ryder & Taggart were excited for the first home football game at CU. Unfortunately, CU doesn't look very good this year so Ralphie may be the big draw...at least for these two little boys.
