Hilton Head Vacation - VI
We spent the last night of the vacation watching the sunset on the beach, watching the boys and reflecting on another incredible vacation.
The boys really just wanted another opportunity to play in the sand,and the ocean.
A little silly time with Nana Leveque was a great way to end the trip.

After the dolphins moved on, Ryder took the helm with Papa Leveque.
Mommy and Daddy enjoyed chillin out at the back of the boat.
Taggart was a little tired and needed some Mommy time. Maybe he just needed reassurance since he realized his brother was the skipper.

A day on the boat presented us with numerous visitors....
These two dolphins were extremely interested in us...
They hung out for awhile and cruised next to the boat...
Uncle Ryan and Daddy actually touched one of the dolphins. The boys (front of the boat) were not too interested in getting close especially when they showed their teeth.

Next day at the beach, the boys couldn't wait for Mommy and Daddy to join in the fun...

The boys couldn't wait to hit the beach. Ryder was amazed at the waves and a little cautious in the beginning.
Taggart on the other hand demonstrated no real concern and ran right in...proceeding to fall head first into a wave.
Ryder's confidence grew and he was a little too comfortable.

Once we arrived in Hilton Head Island, SC for vacation the boys couldn't wait to get in Nana & Papa Leveque's pool.
Taggart wasn't too excited about the sunscreen application....while Ryder was thrilled to show off his swimming skills.
After a long day, they enjoyed playing with the remote control jet ski.

At the end of day one and hours in the pool, they crashed hard.

Chase
The boys latest game of chase involves the playground...
Until today, Ryder always got away by scaling the climbing wall...until today, Taggart couldn't do it without help...
Tagg was more determined than ever...No matter how many times Ryder ran for the wall, Tagg followed...
Now Tagg just needs to spend some time on the slide or at least figuring out which way to go down and on which side...

Soccer
Daddy brought the boys FC Barcelona jerseys back from his recent trip to Spain....which they have attempted to wear every single day.
Now, they seem to be practicing their goal celebrations.

Happy Mother's Day!
Ryder and Taggart could not wait to celebrate Mother's Day. 
They got up early (nothing new there) gave Mommy her card, a rose and then raced off with Daddy to get donuts. Then they wished Mommy well as she departed for her day at the spa.

Tennis Lessons

Ryder is really enjoying tennis....so much so that he even listens and waits patiently. He does not realize that he is demonstrating that ability.
Avoiding being hit by the tennis balls ("crossing the river") brought out his competitive spirit and unknown agility.
Upon winning the competition he received high fives, hugs and kisses from the other kids.

Brothers Playing Basketball
The boys jumped out of bed and wanted to play basketball first thing this morning.
Somehow, Ryder has convinced Tagg that he should shoot while Tagg rebounds. Taggart was so proud that he kept screaming, "I got a REBOUND"....then he pointed to his sweatshirt and said, "I am the MVP". Ryder laughed and said, "you can't even dribble"....that is brotherly love.

Pee Wee Soccer
Ryder has enjoyed Pee Wee Soccer this Spring.
He and Parker King (left) have had a great time. Taggart supports his brother and cannot wait to get out there with him and the other "big" boys...actually everyone once in a while he goes ahead and runs out there.

Easter
We had a great Easter Egg Hunt and Party with the Leslie's and Filmer's.
The kids had a great time exploring and racing around looking for all the hidden eggs.
The younger one's were a little slower on the draw but still had fun finding the eggs.
Yes, eggs were hidden on the new fort. Amazingly, the kids didn't realize that the eggs had surprises inside. Once they did, we had to scramble to ensure no sugar comas.

The climbing wall seems to be a favorite. Ryder flies up it with ease leaving Tagg to figure it out.
Tagg only wants to climb the wall but is not quite steady enough or strong enough to get all the way to the top. We didn't think he would even make it this far.
The boys have already spent countless hours this weekend climbing, sliding, playing and exploring.
Their imagination is impressive.

Spring Bike Ride
The boys went out for a little Spring bike ride.
Taggart was eager to demonstrate his competitive spirit by attacking when he saw a gap and his brother not paying attention. With no cranks or pedals his little legs went crazy.
Ryder countered Tagg's move and cut him off as they headed home. Taggart was close but not close enough (see him in the background). We soon found out that Tagg is not so gracious in defeat. We fear the day they are both pedaling away......we have no idea where they got this competitive nature. ;-)

Little Swimmer
Ryder in action..... Ryder continues to progress through the Swim America program. Yesterday, he moved from Level II to Level III. 
To highlight the achievement, he rang the bell at the end of his lessons. He is so proud of his achievement but not nearly as proud as we are!No photos yet but Tagg is officially taking swim lessons now. He seems to be a natural....or just a little more reckless....we can't tell yet.
