Ryder's confidence and enthusiasm was challenged quickly. He handled this minor spill (don't mind the visual of an ACL tear, he had no issues) and rebounded quickly....
In a matter of minutes he was moving down the slope...He called this his "Superman"!
Nothing more exciting that a happy four year old who can't wait to share his ski school report card and tell stories about his day. :-)
Ryder's first official day of ski school had him already scoping out the chairlift and big mountain. To him ski school seemed like a formality.
Courtney had the morning free but could not stay away and was seen catching glimpses of Ryder in ski school.
He still couldn't figure out why they kept asking him to ride the "magic carpet" when it really didn't take him to far up the mountain.
As soon as we arrived at SolVista Basin, the boys ran to the balcony to see what they could do first.....
Sledding it was. Ryder was in hot pursuit of Mommy and Taggart.
Then we headed to the kids climbing hill, which was like a snow playground, to see who could get to the top first.
Next, Taggart decided it was time for a snowball fight.
We spent the day at Eldora Mountain Resort. It was a little colder than we would have liked but Ryder never complained about the 15 degree wind chill. The only time he complained was when Daddy wouldn't allow him to get on the big boy chair lift.....he doesn't quite understand his skill level and or limitations......that may be a dangerous combo going forward.
Ryder and Taggart had a great time hangin and hiking with their cousins, Eli and Ryann Lujan.
Looking for turtles and other animals became motivation as the kids ran all over the place.
After a great vacation to Dallas, the boys were wiped out on the way home. They enjoyed a movie on the plane. It was a great trip that allowed us to visit friends and family while enjoying some warm weather.
Nothing better than watching how excited the boys got to sit outside the locker room waiting for the Mavericks to come back out on the court.
As the game wore on.....the boys gathered around the Mommy's.
We had a great time visiting the Cardinal's in Dallas.
Ryder and Bryson hit it off as if they hadn't been seperated.
By the end of each day, the boys struggled to keep their eyes open.
Week 2 at the Boulder Indoor Cycling Velodrome and Mountain Bike Course was even better than the first. Ryder even got his first road rash....I guess it was more like board rash??
Taggart was so excited to show off or his Godmother Megan Niles Melson who is in town for the weekend.
Courtney and Tagg enjoyed watching riders on the velodrome while Ryder was on the mountain bike course. Can't wait for next weekend.
Today was Ryder and Taggart's first time to the Boulder Indoor Cycling Velodrome and Mountain Bike Course. The boys had a blast.
Coach Albert worked with Tagg on the Mountain Bike Course.
He then got Ryder some roller time focused on cadence....he tore it up and had us all laughing.
Both boys then got a couple of laps in on the Velodrome. 
Tagg and Ryder wanted to see a movie. It was Tagg's first official movie theatre experience. The boys were a little overwhelmed as the watch and enjoyed Tangled. Taggart enjoyed it so much he cried when we left and said he wanted to see it again.
Today, the Hutton family headed out for some fun in the snow, the long-awaited snow.
Taggart says "Hey Rydie, let's have a snowball fight"
Ryder smiles and states, "SURE Taggie"
Tears followed.....Lesson learned.
We took advantage of the unseasonably warm weather (in advance of tomorrow's snow) and headed out for a trail ride. The rocks may look small but if you are under 4 feet tall they are a challenge.
Tagg is quite competitive and is improving rapidly on the Strider bike.
Papa Leveque, Wilson and I enjoyed our trek with the boys. You may have noticed Tagg seems to have his eyes closed in most of the pictures....that's his smile face....
Ryder and Tagg couldn't wait for Nana & Papa Leveque to arrive in Colorado for the holiday. Upon arrival, the boys attacked Papa and began a huge wrestling match and pillow fight.
Nana was treated quite differently as the boys wanted to show her their presents and relax with her on the couch.
Uncle Ryan scored big with the Purdue football helmets and jerseys.
Ryder and Taggart were amazed that they could follow Santa on the NORAD Tracks Santa site.
So amazed that they couldn't wait for Holly and Hannah Leslie to come over on Christmas Eve. We had a great Christmas Eve with the Leslie's.
After a long day of playing in the snow and sledding, what better than to put on your long underwear, play games, and chill with your buddy in a cabin in the mountains. Ryder and Tyler had a blast and really enjoyed their own room with bunkbeds.

The Goodson, Hutton and Sellers families (to include Body and Wilson) had a blast in the mountains. Daddy usually had the camera in hand and may have missed being in some of the photos but he definitely didn't miss out on the fun and the sledding hill.
Not to be outdone, Taggart grabbed Mommy and they went for it.
We still don't know who was more nervous, Mommy or Taggart?
Most importantly, we know they both really enjoyed it.
