Bath Time

Ryder wanted to take a bath with Tagg. Since Tagg isn't quite ready for that, we improvised. We think Tagg liked it more than Ryder. He has not asked for Tagg to join in the bath time fun since.

St. Patrick's Day Parade cont'd

Ryder loved his little Leprechaun. He kept announcing that Leprechaun's are not real and that his had a green penis and shiny shoes?????? We are happy to see that he understands so much in this world. The fact that he feels the need to announce it to everyone at the parade is a little more concerning.
Taggart more calmly took in the parade and continuously stared at his big brother in disbelief. As if he really needed to state that his Leprechaun's body parts are anatomically correct and appropriately colored?? Yes, we still believe Tagg is planning on kicking Ryders butt as soon as possible.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

Ryder has a St. Patrick book but upon seeing this man promptly yelled, "Who Dat?". Daddy promptly mumbled, "What the hell kind of parade is this? I'm going back to the Irish Pub."
The Conor O'Neill's St. Patrick's Day parade was a good time. Ryder and Taggart enjoyed themselves. Notice closely and it looks as if Tagg took a liking to Ryder's pretzels. After a little green beer everyone needs some pretzels.

When Mommy's Away the Boys will.....

Do things a little less conventionally. Like giving new meaning to eating dinner out.....outside that is. Yes, it may be winter in Colorado but that didn't stop Daddy, Ryder and Tagg from having dinner on the patio this week. After all, as Ryder would say "It's so beautiful".

Ryder's first bike

With a name like Ryder and now living in Colorado, this may be long overdue.......a bicycle.

Laughter

Yawn and Stretch

Tagg's sleeping has improved and now something he seems to enjoy. He is in a great mood when he wakes up.

Brotherly Love

Ryder is a great big brother who is always showing affection to Tagg. We caught him sneaking a kiss.

Story Time

Group story time does not always work but on this night both Ryder and Tagg were in good spirits. I don't think Tagg is that interested, he either stared at Daddy or Ryder the entire time and never really looked at the book. Actually he may not have even noticed that we were holding a book.

Eating Solids....During & After

Tagg is not a huge fan of the rice cereal. Who could blame him that stuff is not real good. Most of it ends up on him, his clothes and everything within 2 feet.

Now the bath that follows is a different story. Tagg really enjoys bath time and being in the water. He may be the swimmer in the family.

Alert

Tagg is sitting up with a little assistance from the Bumbo seat. He is getting so active and alert.

Never is this more apparent than when he sees his big brother, Ryder.

Dogtown and Z-Boys? I Don't Think So.

Ryder found Daddy's Sector9 Longboard Skateboard in the garage. Without encouragement he made his way to the drive way. We were extremely proud of his determination but must say it didn't really come naturally. We saw a lot of this which led to frustration and anger.

Super Bowl Sunday

What a day, drinking bottles of milk, taking naps, watching football....it doesn't get much better than this. I just wish someone would have told me the game was going to go beyond my bedtime. FYI...Mommy said that Daddy's day wasn't much different than mine.....drinking bottles of beer, taking a nap and watching football. Too bad this thing they call the Super Bowl only happens once a year.

Shades

Yes, Ryder really did select this outfit to include the sunglasses. Nonstop comedy watching him walk up and down the streets of downtown Louisville, CO on Saturday.

Brothers

Tagg is learning to explore while Ryder is learning to terrorize. Little brother does not stand much of a chance now. Big brother probably doesn't stand much chance once Tagg gets mobile.

Tagg loves the thought of it.

Waffles

Saturday morning waffles are becoming a tradition. Ryder's reaction is not so traditional.

"Waffles again?"

"No, I don't think so!"

"No one is watching, I am hungry, time to eat."

Time to Call It a Day

Well, we caught up with Ryder just in time.....

Hiking in January

We had an incredible weekend with temperatures in the 60's. Having only lived in CO for a month, we decided it was time to introduce Ryder and Tagg to hiking. Little Mr. Adventuresome took off. If it wasn't for the grade and his little legs we may have had a difficult time keeping up with him.

Colorado winter??

It was 61 degrees today. Even though we are still moving in and getting settled, we decided to spend a little time on the back patio enjoying the nice weather and beautiful view of Colorado's Front Range.

Rose Bowl

Ryder enjoyed New Years Day watching the Rose Bowl and cheering for Papa's alma mater, USC. By the looks of Ryder's attire one might actually think he is celebrating Cinco de Mayo. Ryder has not learned the USC fight song, Fight On, yet; but he does like Traveler and Tommy Trojan.

Mountain Views

It was way too cold to hike over the Christmas holiday but we did drive into the mountains to enjoy the scenery. Tagg accompanied us but slept through this photo.

Christmas in Colorado

Nana, Papa and Ryan Leveque flew to Colorado for the Christmas holiday. We had a wonderful holiday celebrating Tagg's first Christmas and the families first in Colorado. We enjoyed driving into the mountains, snowboarding/skiiing, bowling, shopping and spending quality time together.

Happy Holidays

Journey West

In mid December we packed up and headed West.

The boys (including Wilson) enjoyed the 17 hour journey to Boulder, CO. Alright, alright, they may not have enjoyed the trip but they were definitely good. The highlight of each day was checking into the hotel. Ryder and Tagg insisted on wearing matching pj's each night.
